Give us more Trumps to bring back Jesus! God I pray
“Sweet are the uses of adversity,
which, like the toad, ugly and venomous,
Wears yet a precious jewel in his head”… (Shakespeare)
While there may be pit falls and contradictions to the victory of Donald Trump and his emergence as the President of the most powerful nation on earth. Looking back to the way he ascended to power defying all conventional rules and norms.
Despite whatever impression anyone and the world may have about him and his style, Trump’s emergence on the scene of this world may have a divine connotation. While he might not be the expected one, he may have been designed and destined to be used to play a divine role in the system of this world.
The world is coming to an end but we are not ready.
It’s amazing that in our Lord’s Prayer, as Christians we pray daily “Thy kingdom come, may thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”…
But knowing that the kingdom of God on which Jesus is to take over ruler ship of this world will not come on platter of gold or on a peaceful and lily littered world, but must come when man has exhausted his limits and all avenues and resources to govern himself and is proven wrong that no mortal man can bring peace or solution to the problems of mankind and this world, then the uproar against “Trump” and his fire brigade government and policies contradicts our Lord’s prayer and expectations.
How would Jesus come back to take over ruler ship in a world that there is peace!
On His first coming, He ended up in violence. And the holy book tells us that He will come back in power and glory to take over a world that is infested with chaos, disaster and Armageddon.
Then the question is, how do we bring back the King of glory and the King of Kings?
“If music be the food of love, play on,
Give me excess of it; that surfeiting,
the appetite may sicken, and so die.”(Shakespeare)
Been sick and weary of the leadership and system of this world. And if it takes the likes of “Trumps” of this world to bring back the King of Kings, then God I pray! Give us more Trumps.
